You always have complete access to your MediaVault Plus data. You can download and export individual recordings any time you need them. For larger exports, simply call us at 888-239-9040 or email us at support@mediavaultplus.com and we’ll be happy to assist you.

All MediaVault data is stored in securely encrypted storage on Amazon’s S3 servers or Microsoft Azure storage. Both storage solutions are considered best-in-class by industry experts and offer highly secure storage and backup services. Your data is accessible only to your authorized users and all access to your data by any individuals is logged in our log files.

MediaVault allows you to store your recordings in our secure cloud-based storage for as long as you like. We’ll help you configure storage settings during the implementation process but you can change the length of storage as needed. You are charged a monthly fee based on the total storage used.

How often is the MediaVault Plus data backed up? 2018-06-28T09:31:47-05:00

All MediaVault Plus data is stored and backed up using the latest technology offered by Microsoft Azure and Amazon S3 storage. The databases and virtual machines (VMs) are backed up daily. Cloud storage in S3 is backed up in real time in three geographically distributed locations. You can rest assured that your data is securely backed up and redundantly stored, allowing you complete access to it when you need it.

At MediaVault Plus, data security is at the heart of our solution architecture. We ensure that any electronic communication are completely encrypted using industry standard encryption methods and also require all data at rest to be encrypted. Any web service calls for API transactions that are made between the MediaVault processors and end points are done over SSL using AES 256 encryption. When data needs to be transferred in bulk, we use SFTP or FTP over SSL protocols. Further, our database is encrypted and all media storage at rest is encrypted whether it is stored in Amazon’s S3 environment or in Microsoft’s Azure Blob storage.

MediaVault Plus uses the latest hardware and operating system configurations to ensure we deliver world-class service to our clients. We use the following hardware as part of the solution:
